Our beginning
How it began.
Having recently moved from South Africa, I was navigating life as a new mother in a new country. I found myself searching for babywear that brought together everything that mattered to me: beautiful design, lasting quality, thoughtful functionality and natural fabrics that felt wonderfully soft against delicate skin.
I wanted pieces that felt special, but never too precious for real life. Because those early months taught me that the smallest details can make the biggest difference.
A thoughtfully placed two-way zip can make a midnight change that little bit easier. Soft, comfortable fabrics can carry a baby from sleepy morning cuddles to afternoon adventures. And beautifully made pieces can become part of the everyday memories we hold onto long after they have been outgrown.
That became the heart of roo — pieces inspired by the little moments of childhood that become some of our most treasured memories.
